A Booklet was produced as the first publication of the group, which was formed just over two years ago. One of the most common questions asked is ‘Which Willenhall?’ as there is more than one in the West Midlands .

The group is interested in the Willenhall that lies just outside the City of Coventry, and was until 1932 in the County of Warwick, but came under the Foleshill Rural District [as did most of the Western side of the City] for such things as ‘Poor Law’.

Many have also asked: ‘When are you going to publish a book?’ The answer is in three to four years’ time, when the group has researched and documented the many and wonderfully rich tales, about life in what was once a very small country village.
