Post Office

St James, Lane was called Willenhall Lane, and any letters we had were all addressed ‘Nr. Coventry’ until the boundary was altered. There were four cottages at the beginning of the lane. One was the Post Office and grocer’s shop, the only shop in Willenhall. The milk was delivered every day, and a baker came from Ryton.
